Lori Montanari Gottshall Set to Take SMS' Training Department to the Next Level 

Woodbridge, NJ, December 23, 2002 – Software Management Solutions, Inc. (SMS), a recognized leader in providing specialized IT consulting services to fortune 500 companies, today announced the addition of Lori Montanari Gottshall to their team of highly-skilled professionals.

Ms. Gottshall has over 30 years experience in systems development and back office operations in the Financial Services industry. An accomplished trainer and lecturer, Lori speaks from extensive experience in all areas of requirements development, modeling, use case, project planning and tracking, inspections, defect prevention, and outsourcing.

 A former Vice President of Merrill Lynch, Lori helped develop a countless number of systems and reviewed numerous requirements documents. Lori switched her focus from systems development to process improvement in 1995 when she was introduced to the SEI's Capability Maturity Model and participated in several assessments within Merrill Lynch. She is certified by the SEI to teach their course on the CMM for Software.   Building on her experience, Lori is tasked with growing the SMS Training department by adding new courses and expanding the team of instructors –all of whom are subject-matter experts in their fields.

Prior to Merrill Lynch, Lori worked at the Bank of Montreal, Citicorp, Continental Insurance and Sears, Roebuck. She holds an MBA in Finance from Rutgers, and has also done postgraduate work at New Jersey Institute of Technology and the New York Institute for Finance.
